How did you attract/address your audience?
In order to address and attract our audience we used a site of activity. We used a young, pretty, blonde teenager so our target audience, mainly young males aged 15-25, could almost relate and feel part of what is happening within the particular scene. Using a girl of this age enables male and females to look up to/be attracted to this actor and again feel as if they're involved. This is commonly used in Scream (1996) where a young teen is slaughtered, to give the audience an insight into the rest of the film.
In the end we also attracted males with interest in zombie horror films.

Social Network Feedback
For this question we decided to put our opening title sequence on to social networks. The social network sites we used were Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The purpose for doing this was so to receive feedback and see if we could make any improvements to our opening title sequence.
YouTube
We used this social network because it's a video sharing website which allowed the users to interact and comment on the video. YouTube allowed us to see which gender was commenting. We first used YouTube as the original place to upload our video the reason why is because this is one of the most popular sites and this is where other film companies upload their trailers and title sequences in an attempt to go viral and get a strong following.

The YouTube comments we received suggested that people enjoyed the Horror sequence. However Lauren Smith had strong criticism on our sequence. The criticism wasn't constructive and suggested we needed to get the audience straight into the action. I disagree with this as the opening title sequence for a Zombie film is typically not scary at the start as the transformation has not occurred. Our YouTube feedback also suggests that our opening title sequence appeals more to males. Our male audience seemed to enjoy our opening title sequence and our zombie sub-genre, whereas Lauren Smith said that our film wasn't for her.
Twitter
Above is some of the feedback we got through twitter. Through this feedback as a group we felt we needed to relate and aim towards a wider audience to enable a number of people to enjoy the opening title sequence. However, overall our feedback on twitter was all fairly positive. However, the feedback was also not very constructive and didn't give us much to improve.
From Facebook we received mainly positive comments, however we also received some critical feedback. The criticisms to our opening title sequence were very minor and did not effect people's good opinions. Both our male and female audience enjoyed the sequence suggesting that we successfully made our opening title sequence appealing to a wide audience. Although, all of the positive feedback came from peers and other teenagers, which may mean our idea was not aimed as greatly at the older generations.
